The way to a bass's heart is defintely through its big old mouth. And one of the things a bass can't resist putting in its mouth is a Clouser minnow. I've just finished a box of rough but serviceable Clousers in preparation for our bass season, which opens on the last Saturday in June in this part of the province.
These Clousers are two-tone with crystal flash or equivalent lateral lines. I tied each pattern with dumbell eyes in three sizes so I could fish them at shallow, medium and deeper depths. Bass season is coming quickly. I'm almost ready now.
