Now that my venison is in the freezer and our open water fishing season is winding down, I'll be devoting more time to this website to give it a look and feel that tells a better story of what we're all about. It starts with a new photo on the home page. It will continue with new features, such as the Flies of Algonquin page and more practical advice on products mixed in with a little outdoors philosophy.
This current cover shot is of my good friend Bob choosing just the right fly to tempt late season brook trout on a wonderful September afternoon. Memories like this, collected along the way, are what makes fly fishing so enjoyable. So too is the beautiful scenery and the solitude that, if you are doing things right, accompanies each trip.
Stay tuned, visit often and feel free to comment. We're casting for the high water mark.
