No, this is not a box of Christmas ornaments. It's a box of blobs. These are a British design not much used in Canada and the US but something I dabbled with last year for rainbows with pleasant results along with booby flies which are another effective Brit pattern. I've tied a dozen for myself to add to my arsenal of rainbow flies that I'll take out in the early season. Really easy to tie. New Semperfi products are in!

Good news! I've just received another order of Semperfli products including some new ones like this 15 mm Plush Chenille in Sunburst with UV flecks. It's great for making blobs. Another product that's got me excited is that company's silver oval tinsel, which we are now stocking in small, medium and large diameters. It's nice stuff. We've also added orange to our popular Nano-silk line. Better yet, we've restocked our Straggle String Mix Pack  which has sold out twice since first introduced. This is excellent material for creating micro-buggers and interesting nymph attractor patterns.
