On Friday, the water and weather finally started giving us a break and Mac and I got out to visit a great brook trout river we know. The water was high, so we could not fish all the runs we wanted to. Nor could we fish the remainder as well as we liked, but we still managed to eke out eight nice brook trout, seven of which were between 13 and 17 inches.
