Gray Ghost: Learning as I go.

Here's a photo of one of a pair of Gray Ghosts I tied yesterday. I have only tied a handful of these in my life so it's clearly not perfect, but it is definitely a fishable fly. I learned a fair bit from this attempt, as a tyer should from every pattern. Mostly I was once again reminded that quality material and good, fine thread make the fly better. I also learned that golden pheasant crest requires the patience of Job and that the whole thing would have been easier had I built the wings as separate components as Carrie...
