  • Hey Mac,
    I wrapped about 12 turns of lead around the hook, basically from two eye widths behind the eye to just a little forward of the halfway point of the shank. You could also lay strips down each side, but I feel you get more weight on the hook this way. Either way will work.

  • HI Steve Nice simple tie. I’m going to try some Brown/Orange ones as well as Blk/Yellow. Did you wrap your lead around the shank or lay a strip down each side to make a wide body?
