These trimmings are small pieces of Metz neck and saddle hackles. Each is in natural colours and offers an assortment of feathers that are useful for tails, hackles and wings on wet and dry flies. Typically there are two or three small 3 square inch patches per package. These provide a nice deal for some decent feathers. The saddle patches are better suited for dry flies.
